Another of the popular guided walks with Louise Mudd of Kirkbymoorside History Group, kmshistory.btck.co.uk. Meet at the Kirkbymoorside Market Place bus stop at 12 noon. The walk is a gentle wander through the town, with lots of interesting stops, and takes about 90 minutes. Afterward there will be a selection of the very readable History Group publications for sale at the Kings Head Hotel. It is a free event, but donations are always very welcome for the History Group and for Moorsbus.

23rd July Hutton-le-Hole Car Boot Sale, morning
MONDAY 24th July. A guided walk with the Author Colin Speakman of the North Yorkshire Moors Association.
Starting with morning coffee at The Lion inn. Colin, having traveled from West Yorkshire by train, and then Moorplus from York, will be ready for that coffee!
He will then take you the 7½ mile (13km) fairly moderate/easy mainly downhill walk along the Rosedale Railway to Bank Top, then over Loskey Ridge and Hutton Ridge to Hutton-le Hole with time to visit the Ryedale Folk Museum, tea shops etc. before the 1712 bus back to Pickering, Malton etc. Booking is not compulsory, but if you do have time to let us know you are coming, that would be great. Please come with water bottle, packed lunch, suitable clothing, footwear, and be prepared for sun or showers.
