Moorsbus Serving The North York Moors
News & Moorsbuzz
It's Rosedale Show on Saturday the 18th and the M6 Moorsbus service will serve it for the first time in many years! It's a lovely show in one of the loveliest settings that you will ever find. Traffic might be heavy on the route in to it though, so expect both the M6 and M7 services to be affected. It's even possible - but unlikely - that the 1420 Pickering - Dalby - Pickering service may have to be withdrawn if traffic gets very bad.
Come with us to the Show!
It's the Flower Power plant fair at Newburgh Priory again on the 27th. Use the Moorsbus to get there; get off in Coxwold and follow the signs. It's less than a mile from the stop with a good roadside pavement all the way.
A lovely event in a superb stately home.
Farndale Show 27th of August Bank Holiday Monday. Get a Moorsbus to Blakey Junction and walk down the hill the mile or so to the Show. You'll then have to either re-climb the pretty steep valley side that you walked down or instead walk the much less hilly and very nice six to six and a half miles to Hutton le Hole for a well deserved ice cream, pot of tea or a pint before catching the bus home.
Our aim is to create an affordable transport system to and around the North York Moors and the surrounding area that allows people to travel without cars.
