Moorsbus Serving The North York Moors

"My Moorsbus Story" is a collection of writing from lots of different passengers, each with a story to share of their memories of Moorsbus journeys. The writings span 3 decades, and paper copies are now kept in two special folders at Pickering Library. Anyone can ask to see the folders, and it is hoped that more memories, stories, poems and other writing will be added to the folders in the months and years to come. You will also find some of these stories here on the website on the "tabs" of this page.
Moorsbus CIC are grateful to local writer and bus passenger John Dean, who started inviting stories in 2013, and more recently made the necessary arrangements with Pickering Library.
“Moorsbus sets us on way to start 10-mile country trek” - A Stroll With Stu - a pdf document for download that was originally published in The Whitby Gazette. A map of Stu’s walk can be seen below.
Our aim is to create an affordable transport system to and around the North York Moors and the surrounding area that allows people to travel without cars.
